Research has established that more than 60% of children and adolescents who have emotional and behavioral disorders also have speech and/or language disorders that often go unrecognized. Dr. Hill's goal at Graham Psychological Associates is to work with the GPA team of mental health professionals to identify and treat individuals who have co-occurring psychological and communication disorders. This multi-disciplinary approach from evaluation to treatment is designed to optimize positive patient outcomes.  

Meet Dr. Barbara Hill
Barbara A. Hill, Ph.D., is a license speech-language pathologist. Around the office, clients call her Dr. Bob. She specializes in providing evaluation and treatment services for children and adolescents with speech and/or language problems. Dr. Hill particularly enjoys the communication challenges presented in childhood disorders. These include:

Dr. Hill earned an undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University and hold masters and doctoral degrees from Texas Woman's University. She has more than 30 years of experience working with children and adolescents with complex conditions in both educational and private practice settings. In addition to her work as a clinician, Dr. Hill consults extensively with other professionals in medicine, mental health, and education. Numerous workshops and seminars have presented her knowledge and expertise in the area of language disorders.
